Front-end Developer
We are seeking a Front-end Developer with a strong interactive portfolio. The ideal candidate writes clean, sensible and efficient code while having a keen eye for pixel accuracy and a hardcore desire to implement tight designs. Most of the work includes page-level interactivity so javascript skills are key.
Status – Full-time with benefits or Freelance
Reports to – Creative Director
Salary – Based on experience
Location – New York City or Paris
Primary responsibilities:
- Front-end Development
- Spec Writing and Documentation
Required skills:
- 3-5 years of experience developing for the web
- Expert knowledge and ability to hand-coding xhtml, css, javascript, dhtml, xml
- Cross-browser & cross-platform compatiblity a must
- Respect of W3C Standards and Specifications and best practices
- A keen eye for pixel accuracy and a hardcore desire to implement tight designs
Desired skills:
- Other programming skills such as RoR, PHP, MySql, JSP and Oracle a plus
- Experience with AJAX would be cherry
- Flash and ActionScripting
- Design skills would be a nice, however this is mainly a coding position
