We seek a freelance UX and Information Architect with a strong portfolio that focuses on user-centered websites, applications and mobile. The candidate must have experience in user experience strategy, information design and software architecture — finding the common ground that links these three activities.

• Status — Full Time
• Reports to — Creative Director
• Rate — Based on experience

Primary Responsibilities:

• Support the creative director with concepting and UX strategy
• Defining organizational principles and best practices, including navigation
• Defining user groups and scenarios
• Business analysis and writing business requirements
• Creating content decks
• Creating data and user workflows
• Creating site-maps, wireframes and info designs

Required Skills:

• 3-5 years of user experience/ information architecture experience
• Expert skills in Adobe Illustrator (preferred) or OmniGraffle or Keynote
• Expert knowledge of industry-accepted standards and best practices
• Ability to write with clarity and style, this job is big on writing
• An insane attention to detail, delivering extremely polished, client-ready work
• Ability to learn new UX concepts/techniques when needed
• Ability to keep it simple

Desired Skills:

• User testing
• iOS app architecture experience
