Quality & Support Manager
Paris
We seek a bilingual (French/English) Quality & Support Manager with solid experience with modern web apps and websites alike. This is a new position within our company therefore the candidate must be prepared to help develop the position and related processes.
The ideal candidate is passionate about the web and is (or aims to be) a respected contributor to the community.
- Status – Full-time with benefits (or Freelance if necessary)
- Reports to – Technical Director
- Salary – Based on experience
Primary Responsibilities:
- Quality Assurance: writing test plans, management of QA process and testing
- Technical Support: responsible for all project retainers, main point of contact with clients, interfacing with developers and designers as needed
- Product Management: help manage project roadmaps, maintaining project documentation
- System Administration: interface with hosting companies and 3rd party sysadmins
Required Skills:
- 1-3 years of experience as any of the following: QA Manager, Tech Support Manager, Product Manager or developing for the web
- Solid knowledge of cross-browser/platform development
- Solid knowledge of industry-accepted standards, specifications and best practices
- Working knowledge of server environments
Desired Skills:
- Some experience with system administration
- Familiar with various web methodologies, specifically Agile Development
- Keen eye for pixel accuracy and a hardcore desire to implement and maintain tight designs.
- Ability to learn and adapt as needed (this is a “jack-of-all-trades” position)
Would be nice if you also did:
- Application development (PHP, RoR, Java)
- Interface Development (HTML, CSS, AJAX, JavaScript)
- Flash, Flex, ActionScripting, etc.
- iPhone and Android Apps
