A native of Arizona, Chris received his Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design from the Art Institute of Arizona, and soon thereafter moved to New York City, settling in Bushwick, Brooklyn.

He fell in love with design around 2006 when he started teaching himself how to build websites (in Flash of all things!) but was immediately captivated by the craft of tested, timeless design married with the ever changing and evolving technology of the web and how we communicate. He believes that core passion is what initially attracted him to AREA 17, and continues to drive him to create work that matters.
